Investment of US$ 70 million in a 220 bed facility

Mauritius, August 19, 2009: Apollo Hospitals Group, Asia's largest healthcare service provider inaugurated Apollo Bramwell Hospitals a state-of-the-heart multi-specialty hospital in Moka-Maritius today as a Joint Venture with British American Investment Co. (Mtius) Limited.

Apollo Bramwell Hospital will provide world class healthcare solutions spanning Cardiology and Cardiothoracic surgery; Neurology and Neurosurgery; Nephrology; Ophthalmology; Neonatology and Pediatrics; Emergency and Trauma care and Cosmetic surgery, all under one roof.

The Chief Guest, Hon'able Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius inaugurated the hospital in the presence of Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group and Mr. Dawood A. Rawat, Chairman British American Investment Group.

A world class facility, Apollo Bramwell Hospital, Mauritius will offer a unique blend of holistic medicine and complementary therapies such as Ayurveda, Acupuncture, Aromatherapy and Music therapy. Simultaneously, the hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art radiology, imaging and laboratory facilities.

Designed as a center of medical excellence in the region, the hospital will caterto the global patients.

A world class 220 beds facility, Apollo Bramwell Hospital, Mauritius is built on a total area of 237,000 square feet with basement, ground plus six floors.
